Freshman and Sophomore Plan

We assist a limited number of senior year students with the complete application process. Finding time to manage the college admission process during one’s senior year can be challenging. I will help by being the student’s guide, their scheduler, and their organizer. In this package, I will assist students with the complete college admission process.

Creating College List

Students benefit from an early start since they have the best potential opportunities. We work with students in the eighth grade to help them build solid academic and personal abilities. Students who receive direct, insightful advice on approaching high school report more successful and fulfilling experiences. As a result, they come out as solid students and develop engaging, authentic narratives for their applications. When selecting a college, the most critical thing to consider when selecting a college is whether the college is the right fit for students. It would be best if you also chose a school where you can thrive academically and personally. Cost, distance from home, duration, extracurricular activities, and living arrangements are a few factors to consider. We assist our students in selecting a well-balanced, researched college list.

College Essay Workshop

Essays are one of the most significant components in the college admission process, as there are quite a few academically excellent candidates for every vacant seat at top schools. Admissions officers require the essays to assess an applicant’s fit with the university fully. Essays are your only chance to express yourself, unique experiences, and points of view.

Personal Statement Workshop

A strong personal statement allows admissions officers to learn more about students and gain insight into who they are. Most students find it difficult to write personal statements because they are unsure about what to include. The workshop aims to develop essay topics through different activities and exercises, then draft an essay for their Personal Statement. Students will create an outline and begin writing it. Students should bring a list of the supplemental essays they are required to answer.

Supplemental Essay Workshop

Besides the personal statement needed by private colleges, students will work on supplemental essays. Students must submit them along with the Common or Coalition Application. Students will learn how to respond to essay questions in this session. For the prompts, students would brainstorm ideas and write an outline.

University of California- PIQ Workshop

This workshop is for rising seniors interested in applying to the University of California. It will assist students in comprehending and acquiring the skills required to respond to essay prompts. After completing various exercises, students should be able to come up with essay topics and create outlines based on relevant prompts.

Transfer Students

Services include:

Review of the student profile in detail
An action plan for every step of the transfer process, both inside and outside of the classroom
Make the application for college admissions as interesting and captivating as soon as possible to ensure maximum success.
Develop a compelling and skillful admissions essay that reflects the unique aspects of the student.
Describe all aspects of the college application process so that the student is fully informed and prepared to submit an application
Provide the student with interviewing tips and strategies to help them succeed.

8th Grade -Junior High

Services include:

Student assessments: During the assessment, I examine the student’s interests, skills, and challenges.
Review the student’s academic, extracurricular, and community services, standardized testing results, and data questionnaires.
Provide sophomore or junior-year guidance on academic subjects and extracurricular activities.
Provide summer activities and summer academic guidelines.

At BFCC, students complete self-assessment and questionnaires. My evaluation and guidance enable students to identify their strengths, passions, and skills. It also gives a sense of direction and identifies their field of study to pursue in college. As a consultant, I strive to prepare students for future challenges.
